Have been with this practice for 50years and wouldn't consider changing. The majority of the medical staff are very caring and take time to listen and explain ones treatment. The receptionists, on the whole, are helpful. However, it is very hard to get continuity of treatment by seeing the same doctor throughout a long term illness.

Our experience of the care provided by this GP practice is very good. The comprehensive use of IT which allows immediate access to a patients history is impressive. I like the precision of the appointment system. In most cases, ten minutes is more than adequate. I suspect that where extra time is required it is readily available. I am not sure what we should expect from our GP's other than competence and courtesy. I have read criticism about poor attitudes from reception staff but my experience is to the contrary. Normally people respond well if they are treated well. All GP practices are under pressure and Ridgacre Road seems to cope very competently with these pressures.My wife and I think the care available is excellent. My only comment is that I hope political interference will not impair your efforts to continue providing us with care and compassion.

I joined this surgery a few months ago and have been consistently impressed with how friendly and efficient all the staff are, how convenient it is to get an appointment and how compassionate the doctors are.
